| This beautiful 1979 "Black-Eyed Susan Paperweight" from the Diorio Collection is 3" in diameter. It features a bright yellow Black-Eyed Susan blossom with brown florets in the center and a complex bud. The green sepals, leaves and stems offer a pleasing contrast to the yellow and brown colors. The flameworked composition is encased in water white crystal. This art piece is signed by a black and white "S" cane, and inscribed "A978 1979." It is also signed by Paul J. Stankard. This paperweight is documented on page 51 of the book Paul J. Stankard Homage to Nature by Ulysses Grant Dietz, and was one of Dr. Diorio's favorites.
