		Diorio Collection 1979 Brandywine Fall Bouquet Paperweight

						This unique 1979 paperweight titled "Brandywine Fall Bouquet" from the Diorio Collection is 3 1/4" in diameter. It features a bouquet of late fall seed pods and berries over an opalescent white background. The entire work is encased in very clear crystal. This design is signed by Paul J. Stankard, and has a black and white "S" cane centered on the underside. This beautiful work of art is the same one documented on page 51 of the book Paul J. Stankard Homage to Nature by Ulysses Grant Dietz. As stated in the book, this was Stankard's first seasonal paperweight design incorporating dried flowers with seedpods and berries.
