This unique 1978 "Fantasy Flower on Blue Paperweight" from the Diorio Collection is 2 3/4" in diameter. It has small butter yellow blossoms, five petal leaves, and roots on a complex green stem. The background is translucent cobalt blue, and the entire work is encased in very clear crystal. This paperweight is signed "Paul J. Stankard" next to a red and blue "S" cane.
