		Diorio Collection 1979 Spring Beauty Bouquet Paperweight

						This 1979 "Spring Beauty Bouquet Paperweight" from the Diorio Collection is the study for the Chicago Art Institute Spring catalog for that year. It is 2 3/4" in diameter, and features pink and white striped Spring Beauties, yellow Bellflowers, white Foxglove, stylized pink clusters with angel hair green foliage. . This beautiful work of art is identified with a black and white "S" cane, scripted "D731 Exp.," and signed by Paul J. Stankard. This paperweight is documented in the book on page 74 of the book Paul J. Stankard Homage to Nature by Ulysses Grant Dietz.
